Ethics & Standards : Integrity
A member shall be at all times straightforward, honest and sincere in their professional work.
Objectivity
A member must be fair and must not allow prejudice or bias to override objectivity.
Independence
When carrying out duties, a member shall both be and appear to be free of any interest which might be regarded, whatever its actual effect, as being incompatible with integrity and objectivity.
Confidentiality
A member must respect the confidentiality of information acquired in the course of their work and should not disclose any such information to a third party without specific authority or unless there is a legal or professional duty to disclose.
Technical Standards
A members shall carry out professional work in accordance with the technical and professional standards relevant to the work.
Professional Competence
A member as a duty to maintain an appropriate level of competence throughout their career. A member shall only undertake work which they can expect to complete with professional competence.
Ethical Behavior
A member shall conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the good reputation of the ICCA and refrain from any conduct which might bring discredit to the ICCA.
